Five-Dimensional Gauged Supergravity Black Holes with Independent Rotation Parameters
We construct new non-extremal rotating black hole solutions in SO(6) gauged fivedimensional supergravity. Our solutions are the first such examples in which the two rotation parameters are independently specifiable, rather than being set equal. The black holes carry charges for all three of the gauge fields in the U(1) subgroup of SO(6), albeit with only one independent charge parameter. We dis...
متن کاملNon-Extremal Rotating Black Holes in Five-Dimensional Gauged Supergravity
Supersymmetric black holes in five-dimensional gauged supergravity must necessarily be rotating, and so in order to study the passage to black holes away from supersymmetry, it is of great interest to obtain non-extremal black holes that again have non-zero rotation. In this paper we find a simple framework for describing non-extremal rotating black holes in five-dimensional gauged supergraviti...
متن کاملEqual charge black holes and seven dimensional gauged supergravity
We present various supergravity black holes of different dimensions with some U(1) charges set equal in a simple, common form. Black hole solutions of seven dimensional U(1) gauged supergravity with three independent angular momenta and two equal U(1) charges are obtained. We investigate the thermodynamics and the BPS limit of this solution, and find that there are rotating supersymmetric black...
متن کاملCharged rotating black holes in six-dimensional gauged supergravity
We obtain non-extremal charged rotating black holes in six-dimensional SU(2) gauged supergravity with two independent angular momenta and one U(1) charge. These include supersymmetric black holes without naked closed timelike curves.
متن کاملBps Black Holes in N = 2 Five Dimensional Ads Supergravity
BPS black hole solutions of U(1) gauged five-dimensional supergravity are obtained by solving the Killing spinor equations. These extremal static black holes live in an asymptotic AdS5 space time. Unlike black holes in asymptotic flat space time none of them possess a regular horizon. We also calculate the influence, of a particular class of these solutions, on the Wilson loops calculation. beh...
